Be A Problem Solver

Do you take initiative in your job? How did you feel about it? Where you recognized by your employer in some way?

Even if you answered “no” to the first question it’s not too late to start. Find an area where you are employed that is in need of attention. It could be a room that needs to be reorganized or cleaned, a system that can be created in order to initiate efficiency or a solution to a problem where you and others may be dissatisfied.

You may or may not need others to join you in the challenge-that’s your call but get a move on it! Just because something may not be in your job description doesn’t mean that you can’t act on it. Certainly use your discretion at all times as you don’t want to cross boundaries that you’re not supposed to because that in turn can cost you your job also.
